Career Services

Led by Belinda Hermann (Professional Career Practitioner and member of Career Development Association of Australia), we offer a range of career planning services for individuals (from school leavers to experienced professionals), including:

  • Career counselling to assist you with identifying transferable skills and clarifying your interests and potential (leading to identification of aligned career paths and the development of a career plan).

  • Assessment tools and behavioural profiling designed to support greater self-awareness of your work preferences, work style, traits and strengths. Better understanding your capabilities and attributes can boost your confidence when applying for a new job or promotion, both at the application stage and during the interview process.  Behavioural profiles can also provide you with ideas on aligned careers that you may or may not have considered.

  • Support with understanding and investigating the current labour market, areas of job growth in the future, accessing the hidden job market and improving your network of contacts.

  • Guidance on opportunities to develop and enhance your current career journey.

  • Creation of a contemporary resume aligned to your career path (and captivating job application letter template that can be adjusted to support your job search).

  • Creation of a professional LinkedIn profile and identification of other social media avenues to support your job search.

  • A range of workshops (online and face-to-face).

Inspired Career Planning also works with businesses to provide outplacement services following redundancy and restructuring.  We aim to put a more positive perspective on the event through providing strategy, planning and communication assistance as well as the skills necessary to support a smooth transition.  Our range of services includes one-on-one career planning for individuals, together with group workshops that can be delivered either on-site or off-site.
